New Business Development Manager, Richard Bragg Marks 3 Years at Mettex!

Richard, who joined Mettex in June 2009, has successfully brought in new business in excess of £0.5m. He has brought in additional business from core areas for Mettex and also diversifying into new markets such as Renewables and Automotive, including the rapidly developing electric vehicles market.

Richard brings 25 years of experience in the Electronics and Electrical sectors, and his previous roles include senior positions with global companies; Tyco Electronics, STC Electronic Services and Marconi Communication.

Mettex Acquire new 36 carrier braiding machine

To enable continued growth, we have added a new 36-carrier braiding machine to our portfolio. Further to complimenting the current Mettex product range, the 36-carrier braider will enhance and expand on our capabilities for offering bespoke product to customer requirement and specifications in particular, military applications.

Mettex are excited to announce the approval for plans to extend our existing site to accommodate new machinery and extra personnel required to fulfil our rapidly expanding business. In this difficult climate, Mettex have worked strategically to successfully secure regular business to enable us to grow in this way.

Building will commence within the next three months and we foresee no detriment to our current high level of service on which Mettex prides itself.
