The Mettex Sales team returned from Hong Kong in June after a successful week at Elenex, the 12th Asian International Electrical Installation, Transmission & Distribution and Lighting Technology Show.
Elenex was Mettex's first venture outside of Europe and the decision to exhibit was made following a detailed analysis of the market potential for high quality, custom-made flexible braid products. Initially planned as a fact finding mission, the show has far exceeded expectations in terms of firm enquiries received and Mettex welcomed visitors from a multitude of countires and regions including Hong Kong and the New Territories, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
As a direct result of contacts established at Elenex, Mettex has now tentatively appointed an exclusive agent in the Philippines and is in the process of evaluating opportunities for representation in Hong Kong, the key supply window into South East Asia.
